Plettenberg Bay

Lodestone

Jon and Ingrid Tonkin had been coming to Plettenberg Bay on holiday for over 30 years. So when they decided to relocate from Johannesburg it was inevitable they would choose Plett as their new permanent home.

Kay & Monty

Kay and Monty Vineyards is a boutique wine farm with just 5 hectares of land under grape. Boutique is something the estate certainly would like to put special emphasis on.

Newstead Wines

Newstead will never feel commercial but it will always be exceptional. Since the first harvest a few years ago, its wines & bubbles have won awards (including a Michelangelo double gold) and elevated the region’s winemaking credentials, while its picnics in the vineyards, artisan pizzas and Summer Solstice parties, Polo parties and bespoke events have attracted visitors and groups from out of town and country.

Plettenvale Wines

Plettenvale Boutique Vineyard and Winery is very excited to be part of the new "Wine of Origin Plettenberg Bay Region" that has already been scouted as the future "Champagne District" of South Africa. This is due partly to our attention to detail in the vineyard and winery and cooler climatic conditions - being excellent for the cultivation of high quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes.

Our vines are planted on north slopes and take full advantage of the cool sea breezes that blow through our valley directly from the bay.
