The grape - small and unpretentious, yet responsible for a worldwide phenomenon spanning thousands of years, resulting in a plethora of superb varietals for which we as wine lovers are forever grateful.

On Saturday 24 March, Anthonij Rupert Wyne estate in Franschhoek will pay homage to this bountiful fruit by hosting a special grape inspired lunch.

The lunch, which will take place on the terrace at Anthonij Rupert Tasting Room, will feature an appetising harvest style feast served in three course.

Our final act in the 2018 series is Bottomless Coffee Band, performing live from Backsberg on Sunday, 18 March. They’ll be opened by Genesis, a band with a mission to improve the lives of others through music. 

The fourth concert in our 2018 series is a big one with a double-bill act featuring Sutherland and Nic Preen, lead singer of Al Bairre. They’ll be performing live from Backsberg on Sunday, 11 March. The lively Stone Jets will serve as the perfect opening performance. 

This Friday evening - escape to the Franschhoek Hidden Gem and indulge in style whilst celebrating  'Harvest Happiness'  along with fellow wine producers Morena, Haut Espoir, Bartinney as well as Holden Manz Estate's own French Winemaker, Thierry Haberer.

The hand-picked wines of these producers will be paired with a custom menu prepared by Executive Chef Ricardo.

The third act in the 2018 series is the Cape Town based gypsy jazz band Manouche. They’ll be performing live from Backsberg on Sunday, 4 March. Indie trio The Askaris will be this concert's opening act.

It’s a new year, Summer is in full swing and it’s the perfect opportunity to sample seasonal inspired wines at the annual Franschhoek Summer Wines on Saturday, 3 February, at Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards. An intimate and exclusive social calendar highlight where the Franschhoek Vigneron’s choices for Summer will be showcased.

Following the roaring success of our last WINEMAKER'S DINNER, we are pleased to announce our "Charmed by chardonnay" theme for the 26th of October. 

Winemakers in attendance from: CHARMONIX, LA BRI, GLENWOOD & HOLDEN MANZ.
This star studded line-up will be underpinned by the pairing menu, created by chef Ricardo.
