Situated in the estate’s atmospheric Historic Vat Cellar, Brandy & Blues at Backsberg is an experience unlike any other. Guests can expect to enjoy live entertainment by one of South Africa’s most formidable blues bands, the Blues Broers, a glass of Sydney Back Brandy or glühwein on arrival, and a two course meal consisting of slow-roasted lamb shank and decadent Sydney Back Brandy pudding. Backsberg’s award-winning wines will also be available for sale on the evening.

Only swinging by later? No problem! We’ll be waiting with ice cold award winning wines and mouth watering platters. The first riders will be passing on our lawn just after 7AM – don’t miss out!
Valiant Swart Trio live at Backsberg
The second act in the 2018 Backsberg Picnic Concert Series is an old favourite, the Valiant Swart Trio. They’ll be performing live from Backsberg on Sunday, 25 February 2018 with the opening act being the Jake Gunn Band.
