The terrace in front of Hilda’s Kitchen and adjacent to the Cellar will be a hive of activity, brimming with delicious and beautiful country offerings. Guests can expect artisan foods, arts and crafts, home ware and décor, live entertainment, lots of fun activities for kids, and of course, Groote Post’s well-loved wines.
Local of course is always lekker, with a divine selection of Darling gourmet produce including Darling Mushrooms, Weskus Worswa, Udderly Delicious Cheese, Darling Pomegranate Products, Saucy Boys’ organic preservative-free chilli sauces, marinades and spices, Darling Sweet’s delicious handmade toffees, Darling Brew’s popular craft beers and more.
Children will love the rolling lawns, playground, tractor rides, face painting, water-balls, guided horse rides, target-shooting and more.
Although pets are welcome - all dogs must be on a leash at all times. Visitors arriving with dogs not on their leashes will an option to buy one from the SPCA stall or hire one at the information stall.
The Groote Post Country Market is being organized by the vibrant ladies from I Love Yzer who publish a local magazine in print and online and arrange a number of successful events in the area.
